   Kervian Gold Deposit (Saqez)
   Situation:
   Kervian gold deposit is located in Kordestan province (NW of Iran) with geographic coordinates 46, 6 E / 36, 8 N. in an area of 10 km2. Accessing to this area is possible through the main road Saqez to Baneh, within a distance of 28 km after Saqez to Mirdeh village and from there 12 km. minor road to the Kervian village.

   Mineralization:

   Gold mineralization occurs in metamorphosed volcanic rocks and is of native and fine-grained gold type at the surface. The mineralization zone is located in an altered breccia zone at about 2 km length and 100m width. This zone is composed of some veins, and the maximum grade of gold reaches up to 17 ppm in them.
